Welcoming Our New Executive Board

We are thrilled to be welcoming the new Executive Board at GiGi’s Playhouse Madison.

As we continue to grow in both mission and impact, we are incredibly proud to have leaders who bring deep passion, lived experience, and dedication to every aspect of our Playhouse community.

Stepping into the role of Board President is Sarah Berndt. Sarah has served as Vice President and is known around here as a self-proclaimed “super fan” of GiGi’s. She is also a Playhouse mom who actively volunteers with marketing, fundraising, and the capital campaign. With a strong business background and a strategic mindset, Sarah leads with both heart and vision.

Moving into the Vice President position is Regan Vanden Boogard. Regan has been a vital part of our volunteer team as a 1:1 program co-coordinator and brings her whole heart to everything she does. As a Playhouse mom, she brings a powerful combination of passion and purpose, always thinking about how to make the Playhouse stronger for all families.

We are grateful to have Brett Bauch continuing in his role as Treasurer. Brett’s insights, financial expertise, and clear commitment to our mission have helped keep GiGi’s in a strong and stable position. His smart and steady leadership makes a lasting impact on our sustainability.

Also continuing in his role as Secretary is Chris England. Chris is a Playhouse dad who has been with us since the very beginning. Beyond keeping our board organized, he serves as our go-to IT support and never hesitates to put the needs of the Playhouse first. His history with our Playhouse and consistent behind-the-scenes efforts are deeply appreciated.

Our Executive Director, Kelly Antonson, shared this reflection on the new Executive Board:

“This is such an exciting time for our Playhouse, and I could not be more grateful for the leadership we have in place. What makes this board so special is that, once again, it’s primarily made up of Playhouse family members. Their personal connection to our mission gives them a unique and powerful perspective as we move through this incredible period of growth.”
