We’re thrilled to announce our 8th annual Generation G Gala, our largest and most anticipated fundraiser of the year! This year’s theme, “Disco Ball Dream,” promises to be an unforgettable evening filled with sparkle, dancing, and the vibrant energy of the disco era. Taking place at a brand-new location, The Madison Concourse Hotel, on Friday, October 4th at 6 p.m., this semi-formal event will be a night of inspiration, celebration, and, most importantly, support for our expanding Playhouse participation.

The Generation G Gala has always been more than just a fundraising event—it’s a celebration of the values that drive our community: acceptance, generosity, and kindness. Each year, we come together to reflect on the incredible achievements of our Playhouse participants, share stories of impact, and renew our commitment to creating a world where everyone is accepted and celebrated for who they are. This year, with the theme “Disco Ball Dream,” we’re turning up the volume on the fun, encouraging everyone to let their inner sparkle shine.

Here’s what you can look forward to at this year’s gala:

• Complimentary Parking: Thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Madison Concourse Hotel, parking at the venue will be complimentary.
• Registration: Begins at 6 p.m., so be sure to arrive early to get checked in and ready for the festivities.
• Cocktail Hour: From 6-7 p.m., enjoy complimentary wine, beer, soda, and our signature cocktail, sponsored by Tito’s.
• Heads and Tails Game: Participate for a chance to win 2 tickets to ‘Mania- and ABBA tribute show at the Barrymore—a must for any disco fan!
• Wine and Liquor Pull: Take part in this fun game for a chance to win some fantastic bottles to take home.
• Silent Auction: Bid on an array of exciting items and experiences, with all proceeds supporting our Playhouse.
• Plated Dinner: Savor a delicious meal while enjoying the company of fellow supporters.
• Inspirational Presentations: Hear from our self-advocates and be inspired by their stories of achievement.
• Fund a Need: Featuring the dynamic duo Anita and Sadler, this segment is sure to touch your heart and show the impact of your generosity.
• Dance Party: Close out the night with a disco-themed dance party, featuring music by DJ Blackstreet Boy.
• Celebrity Emcee: Mackenzie Davis from NBC 15

The venue will be transformed with an array of disco balls, shimmering decorations, and a dance floor that’s ready to light up with your best moves. And remember, we’re encouraging everyone to bring the sparkle to their outfits—whether it’s sequins, glitter, or just a touch of shimmer, your sparkle will add to the magic of the evening.
