Dash for Down Syndrome – April 26, 2025

New Theme: Super here’s Dash for Down Syndrome!

Get ready to don your capes and masks for one of the most impactful, high-energy events of the year! Our Dash for Down Syndrome is a huge public display of acceptance that brings together families, friends, and supporters to celebrate individuals with Down syndrome in a fun, festive atmosphere.

The day kicks off with a 5K fun run and a 1-mile walk, allowing participants of all abilities to join in. After crossing the finish line, families can enjoy an action-packed morning featuring a Kids Dash, visits from beloved characters like Bucky Badger and princesses, face painting, a DJ, awards, and even more surprises! Whether you walk, run, or cheer from the sidelines, your presence helps amplify the message of inclusion and acceptance.

To really kick-off the excitement around this event, we are hosting a Diggin’ for Down Syndrome volleyball tournament! While the event is sold out, we encourage you to join us at Oakstone Recreation on March 15 and 16 to participate in our raffles and to cheer on the players.

How to get involved: Start forming your teams now! Rally your friends, family, and coworkers to run, walk, and raise funds for GiGi’s. Volunteer opportunities are also available to help make this event a success!

Go FORE It Golf Outing – August 11, 2025

New Location: The Oaks Golf Course, Cottage Grove

Our Go FORE It Golf Outing is back for its 5th year, and have moved to a new venue! This event sells out every year, making it a staple in our fundraising efforts.

Participants will enjoy a day on the greens filled with friendly competition, great food, drinks, and fun contests—all while supporting GiGi’s Playhouse Madison. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or just there for the camaraderie, this outing is an incredible way to connect with other supporters while raising essential funds for our free programs.

How to get involved: Registration and sponsorship opportunities are now open! Whether you want to play as a foursome or promote your business as a sponsor, there are plenty of ways to take part. We also need volunteers to help with check-in, contests, and hospitality throughout the day.

Generation G Gala – October 10, 2025

Location: The Madison Concourse Hotel

Our biggest and most glamorous fundraiser of the year, the Generation G Gala, is an evening filled with inspiration, elegance, and celebration. This event brings together donors, families, and advocates who are passionate about ensuring individuals with Down syndrome continue to have access to free, life-changing programs.

Attendees will enjoy a cocktail hour, silent auction, plated dinner, inspirational presentations, and an energetic dance floor to end the night. The evening will be filled with heartwarming stories and moments that showcase the impact of GiGi’s Playhouse Madison. It’s a night you won’t want to miss!
