Spend Summer 2024 at the Playhouse!

GiGi’s Playhouse Madison is gearing up for another fun Session – full of FREE Program offerings for ALL ages. Our Summer Session kicks off the week of June 17th and will run through August 23rd. This Summer we’ll be offering several Group Programs for all ages, along with Math and Literacy Tutoring, plus Speech Therapy.  

As always, all of our Group Programs will run the same time and day each week. Check out our weekly Group Program offerings organized by age-group below!  

Programs for ALL   

  • Open Play – drop-in to the Playhouse with your family or friends this summer! Check our calendar weekly for our Open Play dates and times + to RSVP!

NEW this Summer – Yoga!

We’re happy to announce that we’ll be offering Yoga for ages 8+! Yoga will run on Tuesdays, 1-2pm. Check our calendar to register!

Programs for Birth – 4 years old 

  • Ages: birth – 4 years old  
  • 9:00-10:30am  
  • Fridays | June 21 – August 23 
  • LMNOP is an interactive and engaging program designed to guide parents/caregivers and young children through learning basic sign language and other forms of communication while using music, sensory and social-based activities.  

Programs for School-Agers: ages 5-12 years old

  • Ages: 5-12 years old
  • 11:00-12:30pm
  • Fridays | June 21 – August 23
  • Special Olympics Young Athletes is play-based program that introduces basic sport skills, like running, kicking and throwing through games and activities. Young Athletes offers opportunities to build teamwork and social skills, through sports!
  • GiGi’s Kitchen Kids focuses on healthy eating habits and provides early exposure to practical cooking and kitchen safety skills. Each week, participants will follow a recipe and prepare fun lunch-themed meal together!
  • Both of these programs will run back-to-back and participants are encouraged to participate in both!

Programs for Teens: ages 13-17 years old  

  • Ages: 13-17 teens 
  • 5:00-6:30 PM  
  • Tuesdays | June 18 – through August 20 
  • TeenTastic focuses on building social skills with friends with and without Down syndrome by participating in team-based activities in a casual and fun setting. Skill development includes understanding compromise, turn-taking and problem-solving abilities. Art Explosion  

Programs for Adults: ages 18+

  • Ages: 18+ adults
  • 5:30-7:00pm
  • Thursdays | June 21 – through August 22
  • Fantastic Friends is a social group where our adult participants can hangout, socialize and work through various activities and games with their friends!
  • Ages: 18+ adults
  • 5:30-6:30pm
  • select Wednesdays
  • Program dates: June 19, June 26, July 10, July 31
  • ‘Achievers’ is for our Adults who want to improve their ‘soft skills’ including: communication, enthusiasm & attitude, teamwork, networking, problem solving + critical thinking, professionalism and more!
