We LOVE our volunteers!

April is Volunteer Month!

“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” – Helen Keller

Did you know that GiGi’s Playhouse Madison is 99% volunteer run? GiGi’s Playhouse could truly not exist without the generosity of volunteers! Our amazing volunteers donate over 6,500+ hours to the Playhouse each year, which enables us to provide over 5,500 program hours, free of charge, to individuals and families each year.

Volunteers provide services in a wide variety of ways including:

  • Welcoming new families
  • Program planning, service provision, mentoring, teaching, leading, assisting
  • Volunteer recruitment and coordination
  • Fundraising – grant writing, connecting with our community
  • Marketing – designing materials, public relations, blog and press release writing
  • Outreach – sharing GiGi’s mission and services with our community, advocacy
  • Photography and videography
  • Event planning & implementation for our Gala and Playhouse parties
  • Fixing things around the Playhouse
  • IT – Keeping our computers & systems up and running
  • Administrative tasks & projects
  • Cleaning, organizing & decorating the Playhouse
  • And much more!

THANK YOU to all of our amazing volunteers for your dedication and belief in our mission!
