Welcome our newest board member: Julie Kleinheinz Byrnes

Julie Kleinheinz Byrnes is a speech language pathologist with her own private practice. Julie’s specialized training includes a background in early childhood speech and language development, as well as expertise in the multicultural and multilingual aspects of speech language pathology. She has extensive experience providing speech and language assessments and therapy in early childhood, home, school, and hospital environments. Julie attended UW-Madison where she earned a B.S. in Spanish. At Arizona State University, Julie obtained a Master of Science degree in Communication Disorders and completed the Graduate Clinical Training Program in Bilingual Speech Language Pathology.  She has lived in Spain and traveled for extended periods in Belize, Mexico, and Latin America. Julie is a Madison native and grew up just up the street from GiGi’s Playhouse. She is married and has two children. Julie joined the GiGi’s Playhouse board in May of 2018, and she is eager to support and contribute to GiGi’s wonderful resources for children, adults, and families.
