Joy, Music, and Movement: The BenAnna Band Visits GiGi’s Playhouse Hoffman Estates!

This past month, GiGi’s Playhouse Hoffman Estates was filled with laughter, rhythm, and unforgettable melodies as we welcomed the incredible BenAnna Band for a live performance! Families, volunteers, and participants gathered for a morning full of music, movement, and pure joy.

If you’ve never experienced the magic of a BenAnna Band show, picture this: guitars strumming, tambourines shaking, little feet dancing, and big smiles all around. Their energy is contagious, and their music is as inclusive as it is entertaining. From interactive songs that get everyone moving to calming tunes that invite connection, the band knows exactly how to engage every member of our Playhouse family.

Who is the BenAnna Band?
BenAnna is a high-energy musical duo made up of board-certified music therapists Ben and Anna. Their mission is to create inclusive, sensory-friendly musical experiences for kids of all abilities—and they did just that at our Playhouse! With adaptive instruments, playful songs, and a warm, welcoming style, they made sure every child felt seen, heard, and celebrated.

During the event, children clapped, sang, danced, and even got to play along. Parents and caregivers shared smiles and joined in the fun, creating a beautiful atmosphere of community and connection. For many of our families, these moments of shared joy are more than just fun—they’re empowering, affirming, and filled with purpose.
