Lots of Love for Hugs and Mugs

Today we were very lucky to get to know more about our very own Ramsin who interns at Hugs and Mugs. He has been interning for over 4 years. Ramsin earned all of his career skills when he graduated from GiGi Prep and GiGi University. At our GiGi Prep and GiGi University, our students learn how to count money, make change, greeting customers, and other skills for them to prepare for their job field. At Hugs & Mugs, Ramsin works on tasks such as working the register, making coffee, serving gelato, cleaning up after a shift, and how to act in a working environment.

Ramsin said his favorite part about working at Hugs & Mugs is working with his coworkers. He said he especially enjoys working with Jose who is one of volunteers who models proper working skills. Ramsin looks up to him and follows his lead on tasks. The other day they were working outside together when wiping down our windows. You can tell Ramsin is inspired to work as hard as Jose does.

So if you are ever needing some morning coffee and that after dinner dessert, stop on by to Hugs & Mugs for some delicious coffee and gelato served with a smile by Ramsin. He said his favorite gelato flavor is chocolate! What’s yours?
