Spring Means Exciting Updates!

Spring is finally here! This means warmer weather, spring cleaning, and refreshing new activities and updates with the programs at GiGi’s Playhouse. A few of our programs have awesome new program leaders who are fully dedicated to making the programs the best they can be! Here are some of the new highlights you don’t want to miss in April!

GiGiFIT Infant: every Thursday at 10:00 am (ages 0-3)

Our newest program launched in March as part of the GiGiFIT program series! This adorable class is run by Bekah and some amazing volunteers who work one-on-one with our infants to improve balance, movement control, and coordination.

GiGi’s Games with Friends: Monday, April 8th at 6:00 pm (ages 12+)

This program was previously a pilot program and is now an official Specialty Program at GiGi’s Playhouse. It involves word games, math games, and other activities that work on specific skills all while having a blast! Farida also makes sure there are a couple rounds of blackjack as well, which is a big hit!

Destination Discovery: Thursday, April 11th at 6:00 pm (all ages)

This program has a little bit of everything! Our new program leader, Ashley, does a fabulous job at planning purposeful activities for all the stations, which include fine motor, gross motor, sensory, and more! There’s never a dull moment!

Leaps and Bounds: Saturday, April 13th at 10:00 am (ages 3-5)

See how far your little one can go with this program. We have a great new pair of co-leaders, Audrey and Drea, who keep it exciting and high-energy with all the running around and purposeful activities that are a joy to be a part of!

Playhouse Pals: Monday, April 15th at 6:00 pm (ages 5-12)

This program never fails to be lots of fun with an in-depth craft or activity and an amazing snack to get the juices flowing. Mary, the leader, does so well at making everyone feel at home and get the most out of their time spent with their pals!

Teen Tastic: Wednesday, April 17th at 6:30 pm (ages 13-17)

For those of you who know Debbie, she is the new leader for this program, and her brilliant ideas show in the smiles and laughs of every participant! The activities in Teen Tastic present a challenge, excitement, and usually a nice take-home. You definitely want to be a part of this group of teens!

We are working to make ALL of our programs the best they can be, all while being fun and purposeful for each participant!
