Swinging for a Cause: Highlights from Our 11th Annual Golf Outing Benefiting GiGi’s Playhouse

As the summer sun fades and the crisp autumn air settles in, we’re excited to share the highlights from our 11th Annual GiGi’s Playhouse Golf Outing, which took place at the stunning Ivanhoe Club in Mundelein, IL. This year’s event was not just a celebration of golf but a meaningful fundraiser, supporting our free educational and therapeutic programs for individuals with Down syndrome.

The Ivanhoe Club, with its picturesque 27-hole course, was the perfect setting for our event. Nestled in Mundelein, IL, the club’s lush greens and challenging layout offered an exceptional experience for all participants. From the rolling fairways to the serene water features, the course provided both beauty and challenge, making it an ideal venue for a day of golf with a purpose.

Our raffle this year was a highlight, featuring an array of impressive prizes that drew enthusiastic participation. Among the coveted items were Tito’s gift boxes, filled with Tito’s Handmade Vodka and branded swag, and the “Everything Golf” prize package sponsored by Caterpillar. One of the raffles also included a signed flag by golf superstar Scotty Scheffler, a true gem that added an extra layer of excitement.

Each raffle ticket purchased helped support GiGi’s Playhouse, making every prize a victory for our cause. The funds raised through the raffle and event participation will go directly to GiGi’s Playhouse, supporting our mission to enhance the lives of individuals with Down syndrome and their families.
