I have a Voice Gala 2018 : Our Best of All

Our 2018 “i have a Voice” Gala is a time for us all to CELEBRATE!  With one month until our biggest event of the year, our committee members are working harder than ever to assure this year’s event will be the best yet.  It’s a great time for us all to take a moment to remember why we put our heart and soul into  GiGi’s Playhouse of Fort Myers.  Here’s a glimpse at what we have been doing this year and what we have heard from participants and families at the playhouse.

We have offered GiGi’s quality programming for people with Down syndrome of all ages (at NO cost to them thanks to our talented volunteers and generous donors!).  Literacy, fitness, language development, movement, and more!  We EDUCATE:

In the year since our Grand Opening, we have seen “Best of All” moments of physical and personal growth from participants and volunteers alike!  Having GiGi’s Playhouse as a physical structure and not just a Facebook group, we are able to welcome new families into a bright, colorful space filled with energy and promise.  We INSPIRE:

We are so proud to be part of #GenerationG, making the world a more accepting place for people with Down syndrome through our programs, through our volunteers and through our outreach activities in the community.   WE BELIEVE:

At the Gala we will have more great news to unveil about what we have accomplished and what we hope to accomplish.  We hope you’ll join us in our celebration and will support our mission to Educate. Inspire. Believe.

Our Gala will be an important time for the Playhouse as our biggest fundraiser of the year.   The funds donated through our Gala sponsors, donations of items silent and live auction items, and activities on the night of Gala, will determine how many of the items on our growth list we can provide in 2019!   Our participants continue to grow and dream with us, and we would love to be able to start the Amina Grace speech/language program, math tutoring, add 2-3 more programs for different age groups…the list goes on!
