Thanks to Hy-Vee, It’s Going to be a Great Summer in the GiGi’s Kitchen!

When I was growing up, Hy-Vee was that helpful smile in every aisle. Now, that smile of theirs is the shortest distance between two people. Well, that’s certainly the case at GiGi’s Playhouse.

Today, Hy-Vee helped fill GiGi’s Playhouse with smiles when we rolled out new uniforms for our participants and volunteers in the GiGi’s Kitchen. Aren’t they beautiful? Hy-Vee stepped up as sponsor of our Summer Kitchen program by paying for the food we’ll need this Summer, and covering the cost of these aprons, too! And Tuesday’s menu of BBQ Chicken Pizza, Salad, and Air-Fried Pineapple prepared by our adults is just the beginning of a great season in the Kitchen.

With GiGi’s Kitchen for Kids, Teens and Adults on the schedule for the next few months, our chefs will whip up lots of great food (made from scratch!), adding smiles to every recipe!
