Outside Beauty to Match the Inside!

When you walk or drive by GiGi’s Playhouse, you are met with adorable and handsome full window photos of our participants with their trademark smiling faces. You know right away that GiGi’s is a place filled with joy.

But anyone who walks by and takes a closer look will notice that, beside those bigger-than-life portraits, there’s paint peeling and colors fading that tarnish the outer beauty of our fantastic facility. These same observant people will also notice that the lighting fixtures outside of our main entrance door are broken and need to be replaced. This is sad, because we know that the outside of GiGi’s Playhouse deserves to look every bit as beautiful as the inside. Well, thanks to the connections of Board Member Nick Scar, GiGi’s Playhouse can now boast that our inner beauty is matched by what everyone sees on the outside.

Webster Electrical donated the installation of two new lighting fixtures and Tyler Heathcote, Tyler Witzel and Brian Gomez from TNT Painting each donated 12 hours of labor in 90-degree heat to give the Playhouse a much-needed refresh. According to Tyler Heathcote, “We all need a paycheck, but we’re in the position where we can give back to the community and it makes us me feel a lot better.”

When we say that 99% of the programs that GiGi’s provides are led by volunteers, we mean it. And the volunteer hours that Webster Electrical and TNT Painting donate to GiGi’s Playhouse boost that giving of time and talent even more!
