Introducing Steven: the Next TV Food Celebrity

If the Food Network ever needs a new on-air personality, let this serve as my nomination for Steven — our resident connoisseur and our favorite “foodie”.

Steven loves to help plan our Tuesday GiGi’s Kitchen menus, which can be a challenge because our courses are all vegan and nut-free. But Steven enjoys the challenge. (His most recent suggestion was a Skillet Tator Tot dish; yum!) On some days, Steven helps prepare the salad and some days he is assigned to the entrée, but he likes working on the desserts best! (But who doesn’t like dessert best?!)

I also recently learned that Brian works at Palmer’s Deli three days per week busing tables and doing dishes. I don’t know if his routine at GiGi’s helps him at his job at Palmer’s or if it’s the other way around!

Steven is also an eager participant in GiGiFIT, an exercise class that precedes GiGi’s Kitchen. And if you think he’s just burning calories before lunch, you should know that it’s much more than that. It’s about hip strengthening and vestibular/balance exercises that help Steven with his strength, endurance, joint stability, and balance. But for Steven, it’s more about having fun!

Are you listening, Bobby Flay or Guy Fieri? Or are you too scared? Maybe you should be.

Bon Appetit, Steven!
