Site Director Receives Community Leader Award!

CONGRATULATIONS, LIZZ!Our Site Director, Lizz Maxwell, was honored as the 2022 recipient of the Community Leader Award at the Lakewood Women’s Club’s Women Honoring Women event at Vosh on Thursday, September 22nd, 2022. The Community Leader Award honors a woman who has demonstrated excellence in leadership through deep local understanding and outstanding initiative. She consistently advances community-driven, innovative, and sustainable solutions to the region’s most pressing challenges, and service to either one organization or a variety of volunteer activities.
As we witness here at GiGi’s Playhouse, Lizz is more than deserving of this award. She is the eyes, ears, heart and soul of this Playhouse. She leads with love and compassion and is a fierce advocate for the Down syndrome community. Lizz has selflessly dedicated herself to leading her Lakewood community and Northeast Ohio communities to be more accepting, generous and kind. We could not be more proud! Congratulations Lizz!
