Participant Spotlight – Audrey!

Mary, our Project Pulse Lead, shares, “Audrey is a bright, ray of sunshine! She enters any session with enthusiasm and joy. Specifically in Project Pulse (which she has been in since 2019) her growth has been astounding. She comes into the group greeting her friends, finds her seat, participates in conversation, and gets to music making. Able to follow directions, Audrey is a great peer model for anyone around her. However, she still allows her personality to shine with creative liberties during music making. What we love about Audrey is her ability to LOVE. She is not afraid to give a hug and make you feel welcome whenever she enters the Playhouse.”

We have loved watching Audrey grow into such an incredible young woman! Here is a picture of Audrey when she started coming to GiGi’s 6 years ago. She was 11 years old!

We asked Audrey some questions and here is what she had to say:

  1. What do you like most about GiGi’s Playhouse? “It is so much fun. Sometimes we have a movie night at Teen Tastic and sometimes we paint and get messy. We have a Halloween dance party on the stage.”
  2. What is your favorite program? “Everything! I can’t even choose just one.”
  3. What is your favorite memory at GiGi’s? “My favorite memory is spending time with Julia when we had a Teen Tastic movie night with her before she went to college.”
  4. Is there anything else you want to share? “I made a poster because I love going to GiGi’s and seeing everyone.”

Audrey, thank you for always being such a wonderful friend to everyone!
