National Leadership Conference

Wow! What a week! Our Cleveland team had a productive conference learning, growing and collaborating with our GiGi’s network. We truly are #strongertogether!

“The GiGi’s Playhouse Leadership Conference was amazing! 5 days, 56 GiGi’s Playhouse locations, 300 leaders, 80 sessions, 40 speakers, 2 countries and one unstoppable voice for Down syndrome! The energy was through the roof! The growth we see at GiGi’s goes so far beyond the amount of Playhouses and families we serve but to the personal growth in each and every one of our leaders! From judges and CEOs, to mothers and doctors, and even a nun, the GiGi’s leaders are pushing themselves beyond what they ever thought possible and truly changing the way the world sees Down syndrome and sending a global message of acceptance for all! Look out world, were coming at ya!” – Nancy Gianni, Chief Belief Officer and GiGi’s mom

Here is our Cleveland crew representing at conference with our “educate. inspire. BELIEVELAND” shirts! From left to right: Pete Sedlak, Board President; Brian Kilbane, Honorary Chairman; Lizz Maxwell, Site Coordinator; Brittney Alegant, Fantastic Friends Lead/Teen Tastic & TEAM Assist; and Erin Alexeff, Youth Board Facilitator and TEAM Assist. We are inspired and motivated to set our 2019 goals as a Playhouse!

We are so proud of Brian! He was chosen to speak at the conference and did an incredible job! We are so thankful for his passion to advocate for our children. Click HERE to watch his inspiring speech.
