Welcome, Maddie!

At GiGi’s Playhouse Canton, we know that the heart of everything we do is people—our participants, our families, and especially our volunteers. That’s why we are so excited to introduce someone who will play a key role in supporting and growing that heart: our new Program & Volunteer Coordinator, Maddie!

Maddie joins our team with both passion and purpose. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Public and Nonprofit Management from Baldwin Wallace University in 2021, with a minor in Recreation. Maddie’s educational background perfectly aligns with her love for building meaningful, engaging experiences for others. She describes herself as a “professional fun-haver,” and we have a feeling our Playhouse is about to become even more joyful because of it!

Maddie and her husband, Logan, live in Hartville alongside their three cats: Toby, Magnolia, and Beau. When she’s not at the Playhouse, you can often find Maddie outdoors camping, hiking, or kayaking, soaking up all that nature has to offer. She’s also been a vegetarian for over 10 years and enjoys experimenting with new recipes and cooking for family and friends.

In her role as Program & Volunteer Coordinator, Maddie is especially excited to support and strengthen the incredible volunteer network that makes GiGi’s Playhouse Canton possible. Without our volunteers, we wouldn’t be able to accomplish the amazing things that we do! Maddie’s energy and enthusiasm for connecting people to purpose will be invaluable as we continue to expand our free, impactful programming.

Maddie is already dreaming big for the future of the Playhouse. One of her wishes? To one day bring a GiGi’s Café to our community so that people in the community can come enjoy coffee with our participants and support a good cause! We love that vision and can’t wait to see how her ideas help shape what’s next.

Please join us in giving Maddie a warm GiGi’s Playhouse Canton welcome! We are so grateful to have her as part of our team and can’t wait for you to meet her.
