Tune Up and Tune In!

Creasy Family Motorsports, based out of Chicago, have pledged to be Generation G! Driver Dale Creasy Jr. and his wife Laurie donated to Canton’s very own GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge in both 2021 and 2022, and now the team is taking it a step further.

As a nitro Funny Car team in the NHRA, they are debuting their support of GiGi’s Playhouse at the Virginia Motorsports Park this weekend in Richmond, VA to bring awareness to the organization. The team has put a GiGi’s Playhouse decal on the body of their Funny Car for the 2022 season to help change the way the world views Down syndrome and to help us send a global message of acceptance for all.

Creasy Family Motorsports crew member, Jimmy Vance, has an adult son with Down syndrome, Liam, brother to our very own Site Manager, Megan Vance. The team has been publicly sporting their support for the Down syndrome community for years, such as with their “Real Friends Don’t Count Chromosomes” Down syndrome awareness decal in 2019.

In 2021, Dale Creasy Jr. collected the team’s first-ever three-second funny car pass during the third qualifying session at the Texas NHRA Fall Nationals.
