Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I’m a mom to an amazing little girl. I have worked in nonprofit focusing on deaf services for almost ten years.

We want to get to know you! What are some of your favorites? (food, color, season, activity, restaurant, place to shop, etc.)
I love spending time with my family and traveling. I enjoy yoga, reading, and being busy.

How did you learn about GiGi’s and what prompted you to become a volunteer?
I have always called the Playhouse my happy place. When you walk in the participants, volunteers, and atmosphere will instantly put a smile on your face.

What is your role at the Playhouse?
Sam has been a program volunteer, has chaired many of our special events and fundraisers, and has does whatever she can to help advance our mission! While volunteering with the Teen-Tastic program, Sam sought to further her commitment and the continual advance of GiGi’s Playhouse Canton by joining the Board of Managers in November 2019.

What is your favorite experience you have had at the Playhouse?
I had the honor to serve on GiGi’s Canton Board. I was constantly amazed with the hard work and dedication of those that support the program. Being involved with events was truly the highlight. Seeing all of the planning and prep unfold into an amazing time will forever be memories I cherish!

Sam – thank you for all that you have done for GiGi’s Playhouse Canton! On behalf of our Board and staff, we could not have done all we have without you. Thank you for being #generationG and spreading our mission of acceptance for all, for the many laughs, and for the hours of dedication you have given to this agency. We will continue to be inspired by you so we can remain the “Disney Land of Canton” and be the happiest place in Ohio!
