GiGi’s Playhouse Atlanta Welcomes New Executive Director

Gigi’s Playhouse Atlanta Welcomes New Executive Director

We are very excited to introduce you to Howie Rosenberg, our new Executive Director for Gigi’s Playhouse Atlanta and new Roswell location opening on Oct. 1. Howie comes to us from the Marcus Jewish Community Center in Atlanta (MJCCA) where he was the senior program director. He brings nearly 20 years of non-profit experience and has served in various leadership roles with the MJCCA.

As Executive Director, Howie will be responsible for overseeing Gigi’s Playhouse Atlanta and Roswell while executing successful programming, fundraising and management of site coordinators and volunteers.

Having someone of Howie’s experience to guide and help us implement our goals is vital. I believe his leadership will help our local Gigi’s Playhouses reach new milestones, and I’m excited to think about what we can all accomplish together as we look to expand our outreach to thousands of families within Greater Atlanta.

With nearly two decades of experience, Howie has developed strong relationships with the developmental disabilities community. He has created and implemented engaging programs such as the “Transitions Program” to teach life skills to young adults with Autism. During the last five years, Howie has supervised the Blonder Department for Developmental Disabilities. His prior leadership roles with the MJCCA include director of sports and fitness, assistant sports and wellness director, as well as JCC Maccabi International Games director, Atlanta Games. Howie is also a graduate of the University of Georgia.

I know Howie is excited to meet everyone! Please feel free to send him a warm welcome at HRosenberg@gigisplayhouse.org. He will also join us at Fado Irish Pub in Buckhead on Sept. 21, 2017 for our Cocktails for a Cause. We hope to see you there!

Best,
Scott Jeffries
Board President
