Jamestown Property Management Spreads Disability Pride Nationwide with a Supply Drive for GiGi’s Atlanta

At GiGi’s Playhouse Atlanta, we believe in the power of community and recently, that power came to life in a beautiful way thanks to Jamestown Property Management. A simple Google search turned into an incredible display of generosity and support!

In celebration of Disability Pride Month, the team at Jamestown wanted to make a meaningful impact. After a quick Google search led them to our Playhouse, they took it a step further — spreading our mission of acceptance and inclusion throughout their company on a national level. The result? A thoughtful and impactful supply drive that has blessed our Playhouse with hundreds of dollars’ worth of essential items.

From toilet paper and printer paper to coffee station supplies and even first aid kits, Jamestown employees stepped up in a big way. For the past few weeks, our front desk has been buzzing with excitement as packages have rolled in nearly every day. Each delivery is not just a box of supplies — it’s a reminder that we are surrounded by individuals and companies who truly care.

Disability Pride Month, celebrated each July, honors the history, achievements, experiences, and struggles of the disability community. It marks the anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in 1990 — a groundbreaking piece of legislation that advanced the rights of people with disabilities in the United States. Disability Pride Month is a time to celebrate identity, break down barriers, and promote visibility, inclusion, and acceptance.

These generous contributions from Jamestown will help keep our Playhouse running smoothly so we can focus on what we do best: offering free, purposeful programming to individuals with Down syndrome and their families. Jamestown’s support came at the perfect time, and we are incredibly grateful for their initiative and enthusiasm.

Thank you, Jamestown Property Management, for celebrating Disability Pride Month by lifting up the disability community and supporting our mission of changing the world through acceptance. Your kindness has made a lasting impact, and we are proud to call you part of our GiGi’s family!
