GiGi’s Playhouse Atlanta on the Road!

GiGi’s Playhouse teamed up with the Down Syndrome Association of Atlanta to bring free services to families connected to the Hispanic Down Syndrome Association (Atlanta) and West Ridge Church (Dallas, GA). By taking our services on the road, we had the chance to meet nearly 30 kids and their families.

“This outreach is critical to meeting the needs of our community as many families may not be able to come to one of our Playhouses or events,” said Howie Rosenberg, executive director of GiGi’s Playhouse Atlanta. “There’s a lot of excitement about these on-the-go services, and we know it will give us the opportunity to help even more families.”

GiGi’s Playhouse Atlanta and the DSAA look forward to doing this program at least once a quarter. Sessions include fun activities such as games and art, fitness boot camps, as well as physical therapy and occupational therapy. We can also provide guidance and answer questions regarding Medicaid and much more.

Our next event could be in your neighborhood! More details are coming soon!
