2022’s GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge

Have you accepted the challenge yet? GFAC is a national event poised to raise funds for GiGi’s Playhouse and awareness of the abilities of our amazing friends and family with Down syndrome! Our event will be held on Saturday, April 30th at Grant Park. Registration and Check-In will begin at 8:00am with the 5K beginning at 9:00am.  The 1 Mile and Daring Dash will follow shortly after!

This Acceptance Challenge works in many ways.  We are challenging our families to create teams to raise money to support our Playhouse. We are challenging those teams to MOVE for acceptance! And these challenges will be rewarded! Each week we will spotlight the teams who have recruited the most participants and raised the most money. Check out our first honored team leaders from Teams Kinlin’s Crew and Taylor Made on Instagram! We are so proud of the hard work they’ve done already! We can’t wait to see who each week’s champions will be!

All teams who raise $321 by 3/21 will be gifted a yard sign featuring their team name and the person they are honoring at the event. This sign will be placed on the race course for all to see and will be yours to take home after the event! Medals will be given to the top male and female finisher in each age group of the 5K.  Finish ribbons will be given to our Dashers. No one will leave this event empty handed!  There will be so much more to see and do! Our Finish Line area will feature a DJ, bouncy slide, food, drinks and more to come!!  We are getting new ideas every day! Plus, it’s right next to Zoo Atlanta so you can keep the family fun going all day long!

Signing your team up is easy and once you’ve done it, you’ll receive helpful emails with fundraising tips and how to share your team with others!  Just click the photo below to get started.  3…2…1…. GO!
