Participant Best of All: James Randolph

This month’s participant ‘Best of All’ goes to James Randolph. James made many noticeable strides in the GiGiFIT Adult and GiGi’s Kitchen Adult programs on Saturdays. By having our program leads and assistants provide occasional 1-on-1 attention in order to adapt movements in the kitchen & gym, James was able to reach his Best of Alls in both programs. By channeling his eager excitedness, program leads were able to guide him with dicing ingredients and making a game out of high-fiving to get maximum stretching and movement of the upper body! Before too long, the routine provided enough consistency to James that he would find his natural rhythm and pace. James became accustomed to portioning out ingredients visually by making two equal halves. By making movements flow with the way he likes to move, James was able to better participate as his jumping and strong throwing had a purposeful outlet which made fitness much more fun. Sociability even reached a peak, as towards the end of the summer session, James would no longer choose the yoga mat in the very back corner, but would instead be right in front of the program leads and follow along to stretches and core movements. So because of this, we are celebrating James.
