Meet Maria: A Heart for Inclusion and Impact

We’re so excited to introduce Maria, one of the incredible members of our Board at GiGi’s Playhouse!

Maria joined the Board because she truly believes in the mission of GiGi’s. She has seen firsthand how GiGi’s is changing lives and feels deeply connected to the vision of a world where diversity is not only accepted, but celebrated. For Maria, serving on the Board isn’t just volunteering—it’s one of the most meaningful and worthwhile experiences of her adult life.

What Maria loves most about GiGi’s is the unique and powerful environment it creates. GiGi’s provides individuals with Down syndrome the opportunity to grow their educational and social skills in a setting that is both supportive and fun. Just as importantly, it offers a strong sense of community for families, creating connections that go far beyond the Playhouse walls.

When she’s not supporting GiGi’s, Maria’s favorite thing to do is spend time with her son, Mr. Jampa. Whether they’re pretending to be detectives, going for walks, bowling, playing putt-putt, or simply sharing a good laugh, those moments are what she treasures most.

We are so grateful for Maria’s passion, dedication, and heart for our community! 💛
