Open Play is Back!
Open Play is a great opportunity for a fun place for a play date, or to come get some energy out! This program invites families and their friends to the Playhouse for playtime! Open Play helps promote positive beginnings for new families with a child with Down syndrome, creates awareness opportunities for peers and friends, as well as support and networking for current families. Come ready for a fun and cray good time! Open to families with children of all ages and their friends.
Every Monday 10 a.m.- 12 p.m.
Music Therapy (Birth-5 years)

GiGi’s Playhouse and Resounding Joy will be offering another FREE Music Therapy for children 0 – 5. The session will run from February 20th- April 25th. Siblings of any age are welcome! To register please email jveroneau@gigisplayhouse.org

Crawlers and Walkers (Birth-3 years)
Crawlers and Walkers focuses on the development of gross and fine motor skills through fun, hands- on activities! Activities will focus on strengthening, movement, and balance.

LMNOP (Birth-3 years)
LMNOP is an interactive and engaging program designed to guide parents and young children through learning basic sign language and other forms of communication using music and language-based activities. We recommend this program for ages Birth-5 Years.

Leaps & Bounds (3-5 years)
This program focuses on the development of large and small muscle groups. Children will participate in fun and engaging activities that require movement and interaction with their development. Our Leaps & Bounds program is recommended for ages 3-5 year olds.

Playhouse Pals (5-8 years)
Playhouse Pals is an interactive and engaging program for participants ages 5 through 8. We support the development of social skills and language through peer to peer interaction in a casual and fun setting. This program also supports gross motor skills through active games, as well as fine motor skills & self-help skills

Art Explosion (school age and up)
We’ve moved our Art Program to Sunday! Art Explosion provides a hands on experience with different types of art, such as paint, drawing, clay, and photography. Also, it is an outlet for individuals with Down syndrome to express themselves , build confidence, and socialize with peers. Siblings are welcome! Art explosion is recommended for school age, teen, and adults.

Karate Kickers (8+)
Karate Kickers focuses on development of balance, coordination, discipline, focus, attention, and confidence. There will be no physical contact between peers. For youth with Down syndrome ages 8 and up. Siblings are welcome!

Crossfit @ Crossfit Humanity (8+)
Join GiGi’s Playhouse and CrossFit Humanity for a fitness program for ages 8+ and their siblings.The coaches will teach technique and formulate routines to help participants reach their goals and work on wellness while being be part of a supportive community!

Destination Discovery (All Ages)
Destination Discovery supports the development of fine motor skills, gross motor skills, social skills and language through purposeful play and peer to peer interaction in a causal and fun setting. In addition this program also brings families together to share experiences and build relationships.

Teen Tastic (13-17 years)
Teen Tastic is an interactive and engaging program for teens ages 13 through 17. This
program is for teenagers with Down syndrome and those without Down
syndrome. We support the development of social skills, fine motor skills, self-help skills,

Fantastic Friends (Adults)
Our Fantastic Friends program supports the development of social skills and language through peer to peer interaction in a casual fun setting. Adult participants participate in the planning of activities so that group activities are based on personal interests. During Fantastic Friends, the group may participate in active games, dancing or exploring their local community by participating in outings and events. We recommend Fantastic Friends for ages 18 years and older.
