Volunteer Spotlight

Ben Lombard started regularly volunteering with us last month for programs. He was looking for more opportunities to help out around the Playhouse and saw that we had Summer Camp Adventures on the calendar. Ben did not just call the Playhouse to see what he needed to do — he came in person to talk with staff about it.

Ben turned out to be an awesome volunteer for camp! Ben dedicated his week to volunteering for camp and made an incredible impact on his buddy, Myles. When Myles needed more time to transition or participate, Ben made adjustments to help him have a great time! Ben was patient, kind, and understanding with all of our campers. We are so grateful to have volunteers like him!
