I have found a home at GiGi’s

It has been a true pleasure to be involved with GiGi’s Playhouse Raleigh from the very beginning.  The amazing passion that I am able to witness from the volunteers to the smiling faces of the participants has been nothing short of inspiring.  I have been honored to be the program lead for the Generation G Youth Advisory Board for the past 3 years and love that I get to work with teens to make an impact on the Playhouse.  I also have been a co-lead for the Raleigh Fantastic Friends program and love or monthly “parties” with all my new friends!  Although I didn’t previously have a direct connection to the Down Syndrome community, I have found a home at GiGi’s that is filled with people that are #MoreAlikeThanDifferent and fills my heart everyday!
