Best. Internship. EVER!!

I volunteer at GiGi’s because the Playhouse is my home and the people are my family. Every day, I walk through those doors anticipating a new and exciting adventure that doesn’t fail to leave me with a smile on my face and my heart full of love; and every time I walk out, I am a better person than I was before. It is an honor to be part of such a positive and empowering organization that is truly redefining what it means to have a Down syndrome diagnosis. From the plethora of purposeful programming to the supportive and encouraging community, GiGi’s provides so much hope for the future of our friends with diverse abilities. GiGi’s Playhouse is a light that shines so bright! Best. Internship. EVER!!

Our volunteers are amazing. The day to day task of running a busy playhouse require flexibility, initiative and smiling faces. We are grateful every day for the ways our volunteers embody the culture here at GiGi’s- Helping maintain an environment of love, acceptance and growth. During Caroline’s internship she supported our marketing needs, welcomed new families and lead a Dance program every Monday. Just as GiGi’s light shines bright, so does Caroline’s. We are super thankful for the commitment she has to our playhouse and families, she lives out the meaning of GenerationG!
