Become a 321 Champion!

Welcome back!!!!

Thank you for viewing my blog. Sorry I did not post for a long time.
I just wanted to ask you be a 321 champion. At GiGi’s Playhouse Raleigh, we have a 321 Champion campaign. Please donate $21 each month for the year of  2018. Reason why is because we need money to keep our programs free and to operate.

As you know, I have Down syndrome and am 20 years old. Back in 1997 their were not many resources. In 2015,  my mom and I worked with a group of others to bring GiGi’s Playhouse to the Triangle area. GiGi’s Playhouse is achievement center that focuses on the potential in individuals with Ds. We are one of the 35 locations nationwide and in Mexico. Our location served 450 plus families and 4,200 participants since opening June 2016.

I am active at GiGi’s because I have graduated high school and am learning to be more independent.  I am a participant in the adult programs and I also volunteer for community events. I am co-president of  the Generation G Youth Advisory Board. We help with the main board with their additional needs and coordinate our fall and spring events. I love having a place meet new friends and to hang out with my at Fantastic Friends.
