Welcome Ava!

We are so excited to announce that we have an intern here at GiGi’s Playhouse this summer!

She will be working remotely until we are able to get back into the Playhouse safely but we have been in discussions with her since earlier this spring while she was studying abroad. Sadly, she had to come home early because of COVID-19 but she is ready to get started here at GiGi’s Playhouse Quad Cities!  We asked her to write an intro so you could all meet her! Please help us welcome Ava to the Playhouse!

Hello, my name is Ava Gomez and I am currently a senior at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. I am pursuing a major in Advertising and a minor in Art and Design to eventually work in the field of advertising and marketing. My hope is to eventually move to Chicago and work in an advertising agency! I have been a native to the Quad Cities my whole life. I love to be active, paint, and be around my family! I am the second oldest of 6 children in my family, and they make being home so much fun. I am so excited to be a part of the GiGi’s Playhouse community as an intern to help the staff and other volunteers with marketing plans and needs this summer!
