Ollie has grown by Leaps & Bounds!

This summer we held the Leaps & Bounds program as a 6 week session based program. Leaps & Bounds is a play-based program for children that focuses on success in preschool and kindergarten. Students participate in fun and engaging activities that provide opportunities for following routines, small group participation, movement and interaction with their environment.

Ollie attended all 6 weeks. He made progress in all goal areas and had the highest progress scores too. Some of this can be attributed to consistently attending the program but also due to Ollie giving his #bestofall and his mom’s commitment too.

Family members are key participants in this program and encourage their children to reach his or her Best of All throughout each session.

Ollie’s mom said:

We enjoyed Ollie’s first year of the Leaps & Bounds program this summer! He caught on quick to the routine. It was great practice for his colors, counting and listening to directions. 

We are so proud of Ollie and his achievements this summer.

The Leaps and Bounds program is recommended for ages 3-5 year olds and is typically offered every summer to prepare participants for fall Preschool.

This summer we also held the Playhouse Pals program for ages 5-8.

Playhouse Pals supports the development of social skills and language through peer to peer interaction in a casual and fun setting. This program also supports gross motor skills through active games, as well as fine motor skills & self-help skills.

Both of these programs are led by volunteers with strong education backgrounds.
