Book with a Buddy (all ages)

Individuals of all ages can enjoy a Book with a Buddy! They will be paired with a buddy to be read to or they can read to their buddy. All participants will take home a book or two to enjoy later. Come when you can and leave when you must! Come right after school, before dinner, or in your PJs after dinner! Refreshments will be served. Please RSVP and include the estimated time you will be attending, so we can plan accordingly. This event made possible by Thrivent Financial and Thrivent Action Teams.

3rd Annual Blood Drive taking place at the same time so you can donate while your loved one enjoys books. (Not required just a perk)

LMNOP (Birth-5 years)

LMNOP is an interactive and engaging program designed to guide parents and young children through learning basic sign language and other forms of communication using music and language-based activities. The theme will be Fire Safety! We recommend this program for ages birth-5 years.

Friends, Fun, and Fitness (13+ years)

Our friends get together for physical activity and healthy eating tips, tailored just for teens and adults! Friends, Fun & Fitness is provided in cooperation with CrossFit OC3 and a grant provided by the Scott County Regional Development Authority. This program will run every other Thursday from September 26st to November 7th. Registration is closed.

Teen Tastic (13-17) & Fantastic Friends (18+)

Teen Tastic promotes friendship, social interactions, communication through a variety of social activities, outing, and games for teens. Participants in Teen Tastic gain confidence, leadership skills, and empowerment while working as part of a team or on individual projects and tasks.

Fantastic Friends program supports the development of social skills and language through peer to peer interaction in a casual fun setting. Adult participants participate in the planning of activities so that group activities are based on personal interests.

GiGi’s will provide the meat dish. Please bring a dish to share.

Join GiGi’s for a Thanksgiving Party! GiGi’s will provide the meat dish. Please bring a dish to share.

RSVPs are required. Please RVSP by noon on November 15th so we can plan accordingly.
