getting to know our board – great resource

Part 3 of the 2016 “Getting to Know Our Board”. This individual has been a great resource to the board and the playhouse staff. He has introduced us to several contacts for grant information and facilitated a laptop donation for a staff member.

chadHello my name is Chad Johnson. I grew up in Heritage, Moline, IL, with my younger brother and sister until my family moved to Bettendorf in 87. I’m a graduate from the University of Northern Iowa from the School of Business with a BA in Management & Operations.  I am married to my wife Susanna. We have a nineteen-year-old son who has joined the Navy with the goal to become a Navy Seal.  Our daughter Mila, is five years old and she has been a great blessing and addition to our family.

I was invited in January 2016 to become a Board member at GiGi’s Playhouse Quad Cities.  It was an honor to be invited to the board. Our first experience with GiGi’s Playhouse was when my wife and I were blessed with our daughter in 2011.  My wife and I got to experience firsthand the resources and wonderful staff and volunteers that make GiGi’s Quad Cities a valuable asset to the Quad City community. I truly appreciate the opportunity to be a part of the Quad City GiGi’s Playhouse Board and be able to assist in making it even better for families like mine.
