2025 Parent Survey

Parents, As we plan the rest of our year, we want to hear from you! 

Tell us what you love about GiGi’s, how we can improve, and what programs you’d like to see here at the Playhouse. Please remember that many programs are dependent on volunteers and funding. If we have volunteers interested and/or willing to lead a program, and we have the funding, we will offer it! We do write grants throughout the year for various programs, but grants are a little like the lottery, sometimes you win, sometimes you don’t! We do our best to offer a variety of programs for all ages but sometimes they just aren’t possible. This doesn’t mean that we won’t try again! Much like our participants, we keep pushing through the barriers until it happens. This spring we were able to offer several new programs thanks to our volunteer interns!

We think this is a good time to share a quick reminder of the GiGi’s purpose, mission, and vision and our core values.  

Our Purpose: 

To change the way the world views Down syndrome and to send a global message of acceptance for all. 

Our Mission: 

We make a lifetime commitment to changing lives and providing hope through the consistent delivery of FREE educational, therapeutic, and career development programs for individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and the community, using a replicable playhouse model. 

Our Vision: 

To see a world where individuals with Down syndrome are accepted and embraced in their families, schools, and communities. 

ALL individuals with Down syndrome are unique. They all have likes. dislikes, strengths, and weaknesses. Our goal here at GiGi’s is to help each person achieve their #bestofall and part of changing the way the world views Down syndrome is sharing those best of all stories with the public. Sometimes we will share stories we see in the media, not because we think they are better than someone else, but because they are being recognized for achieving the best of all, and we want to celebrate with them!
