6 Ways YOU can make a difference!
Spring has spring and so have a number of volunteer opportunities here at GiGi’s! We are 99% volunteer run and rely on a wide variety of volunteers to make all the programs and events possible.
Quad City Cruisers Car Shows
GiGi’s has been chosen as one of the charities to benefit from several car shows this spring and summer. We have been asked to provide a few volunteers to assist with selling 50/50 tickets during the events. It’s always fun to walk the show, listening to music and visiting with car enthusiasts. They love to hear about GiGi’s! They especially love it when a GiGi’s participant is helping with selling tickets.
The dates are May 13 canceled and rescheduled for May 26, June 10, July 12, August 12, and possibly August 16.

Superhero Run/Walk
The annul 5K Run, 1 Mile Walk and Kids Dash is being held on June 3rd. There are opportunities to volunteer during the event but also prior to the event. This event is made possible thanks to many volunteers that are generous with their time.

Tutors Needed
Are you looking for a meaning full volunteer experience? We need YOU to help individuals with Down syndrome on their learning journey. Tutors meet once a week for an hour with their paired participants. The date and time are set according to your availability. Training is provided and a rewarding experience is promised!

John Deere Classic
We will once again be hosting a concession stand during the John Deere Classic this summer. This week takes LOTS of volunteers but it is a great way to volunteer with friends, family, and coworkers. The JDC is being held July 5-9.

We are looking for committed program assistants for summer programs and beyond. If you are interested in assisting on a regular basis, please contact the Playhouse to learn more about specific dates, times, and programs that are in need of assistants. Board of Managers
We are in need of board members with the passion and desire to help our Playhouse continue growing and achieving it’s Best of All! Currently looking for people with a background in fundraising, nonprofit boards, special events, and human resources. However, all applications will be considered.
