Rockstar #7 – Meet Korryn

Day 7 of our 10 day blog series highlighting some rockstar participants. We hope you’ve enjoyed these as much as we have.

Today, we’d like you to meet Korryn.

Korryn is a singing and dancing machine who works at Circa 21. Her favorite events at GiGi’s Playhouse are the Superhero Run and the GALA!

Korryn was on Oprah with her cheerleading team and got to meet Miley and Billy-Ray Cyrus. This may sound familiar because she was with Caitlin, who was featured yesterday, when this fun experience took place.

Korryn’s favorite lesson this session was painting with watercolors; her Down syndrome inspired butterfly painting is being featured in our WDSD goody bags and stickers.

Korryn was given the Happy Helper award for always lending a helping hand, even without being asked. 

P.S. Korryn is a trained volunteer here at GiGi’s Playhouse Quad Cities and helps often.
