Your Story is Powerful – Share It!

Saturday we celebrated World Down Syndrome Day with the Brooklyn Museum, NDSS, and LuMind, and it was AMAZING! Over 350 people came together to celebrate Down syndrome, Judith Scott, and inclusion.

We can’t think of a better kick off for Dancing for Down Syndrome – our grass-roots advocacy campaign.

Over the next two months, families, volunteers, and champions for Down syndrome, will create Playhouse sponsored webpages sharing their story of loving someone with Down syndrome .

These stories will be shared in emails, facebook messages and twitter posts as we all reach out to our personal networks, inviting them to change the way New Yorkers think about Down syndrome and donating in support of GiGi’s Playhouse New York.

You have the power to be an advocate!
Share your story – create your Playhouse supported webpage here.

This two month campaign will culminate in our 2nd Annual ‘Dancing for Down Syndrome’ party on Saturday, May 16th.

Join us in Dancing for Down Syndrome!
