Celebrating Down Syndrome Awareness Month!

October is right around the corner, which means it’s almost time to celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness Month! DSAM is a month to raise awareness about Down syndrome, celebrate our loved ones with Down syndrome, and advocate for the inclusion and acceptance of individuals with Down syndrome.

At GiGi’s Playhouse New Orleans, we’ll be celebrating by having themed days every Saturday—except October 4th, when we’ll be celebrating at our annual Lagniappe Gala. (Click here for more info about that.) See below for the themes and dates; we’d love for you to join us by dressing up and bringing some extra fun to our programs on these special days.

Also, join us on October 18th at 12 pm to celebrate our 5th birthday. Come ready to party and have fun!
