Volunteer Spotlight: Holly

Hi, my name Holly and I am an intern for GiGi’s Playhouse Milwaukee. I am a senior at Alverno College studying health education. I was so excited when I heard about GiGi’s Playhouse and that I could be a part of it! I started my internship this spring amidst the COVID shutdown. Although I have not been able to see or interact with families, I have been able to see the dedication of the staff to still give the best service to the Down syndrome community.

My role at GiGi’s has been to help with the GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge fundraiser that is coming up quickly on June 5th. I hope I have the opportunity to meet all of you there! https://gigisplayhouse.org/milwaukee/quest-for-acceptance/
