Participant Best of All: Daniel C. & Zeke R.

At GiGi’s Playhouse Milwaukee, we celebrate the “Best of All”: the idea that every individual can make progress, reach new goals, and shine in their own unique way. This summer, we had the joy of witnessing a truly special example of that spirit through two incredible young boys: Daniel and Zeke.

Daniel and Zeke aren’t just good friends, they’re more like brothers. Having known each other nearly their whole lives, their bond runs deep, and it shows in everything they do together. Whether they’re participating in programs, cheering each other on, or simply sharing a laugh, their friendship radiates warmth, joy, and authenticity.

Throughout the summer, Daniel and Zeke consistently showed up not just in attendance, but in heart. They gave their “Best of All” by engaging fully in our programs and, more importantly, by modeling what true peer-to-peer support looks like. They lifted each other up, offered encouragement, and created an environment where everyone around them felt welcomed and inspired.

Their connection is a beautiful reminder of what’s possible when friendship, inclusion, and community come together. Daniel and Zeke remind us that our best selves are often brought out by those who believe in us, support us, and walk alongside us not just as peers, but as true friends.
