Participant Best of All: Cody Z.

At GiGi’s Playhouse Milwaukee, we believe in celebrating every milestone, big or small, and recognizing the courage, determination, and joy our participants bring to the world. Today, we’re shining a bright spotlight on someone who truly embodied our “Best of All” spirit this summer: Cody Z!

This summer, Cody took a big step outside of his comfort zone and joined Rainbow Day Camp. What a transformation we witnessed! From the very beginning, Cody embraced the opportunity to try new things, meet new friends, and most importantly, showcase his vibrant personality that we all know and love.

New environments can be intimidating, but Cody wasn’t alone. On his first day, he was warmly welcomed and gently encouraged by a friendly, supportive peer, Gracyn A. Her kindness and patience made all the difference. She stood by Cody’s side, helping him feel safe, seen, and included. Thanks to Gracyn’s comforting presence, Cody was able to take those first brave steps into a new experience.

As the week went on, something incredible happened: Cody blossomed.

With each activity, his confidence grew. He participated with enthusiasm, shared smiles and laughs, and truly became a part of the Rainbow Day Camp community. From nature walks and music to games and crafts, Cody found joy in every moment and built real connections with both campers and volunteers.

“Best of All” is about always trying your best, growing every day, and celebrating progress, not perfection. And this summer, Cody lived that mission. We are so proud of Cody for his strength, his heart, and his willingness to try something new. And we’re equally grateful to Gracyn for reminding us how one small act of kindness can spark huge growth.

Cody, your GiGi’s Playhouse family is cheering you on. This summer was just the beginning, and we know you’ll continue to show your “Best of All” in everything you do.
