I knew I was gonna love him with all my heart

Participant Best of All:

My son Jayden is twelve years old. We found out before I held him that he had Down Syndrome. It was heartbreaking for a second, then as I held him, I didn’t care, . I have loved being Jayden’s dad for the last twelve years. Every day he makes me smile.

Jayden is the most loving and amazing big brother. He loves swimming, playing with our dog, and riding his electric scooter. Amongst many other things, he’s learning to roller skate. There is so much I could say about Jayden, but the most important is just how amazing he is and how lucky we are to have him in our lives.

I always say someday Jayden is going to change the world.
-Dad, Christopher
