A Night to Shine: Highlights from the Teen and Adult Glow Party

Last month, we hosted an unforgettable Teen and Adult Glow Party in partnership with the Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin (DSAW). With 30 attendees and volunteers filling the room with energy and excitement, the event was a true celebration of community and joy.
The evening was packed with fun activities. Guests enjoyed pizza, snacks, and drinks while taking turns at the karaoke mic. The ongoing list of songs kept the music alive all night long, and the glow of the party lights matched the smiles on everyone’s faces.
We were fortunate to have incredible volunteers from the University School of Milwaukee and Bayside Middle School. Their enthusiasm and willingness to jump in wherever needed ensured the event ran smoothly and made everyone feel supported.
One of the most heartwarming parts of the evening was seeing such a large group of teens and adults engage fully in the event. Whether singing, dancing, or simply enjoying the moment, their joy was infectious. It’s events like these that remind us of the unique perspectives and happiness our participants bring to the world.
Thank you to DSAW, our volunteers, and everyone who attended for making the Glow Party such a success. Together, we created a space where fun, friendship, and inclusion could shine brightly.
Stay tuned for more events like this, and join us in spreading acceptance and celebrating the amazing individuals in our community.
