Volunteer Spotlight: Maria Mueller & Noah Kihmm
At GiGi’s Playhouse Milwaukee, we are incredibly grateful for the energy, passion, and expertise that our Marquette University Exercise Physiology interns, Maria Mueller and Noah Kihmm, bring to our community. Maria and Noah have taken on leading roles in some of our most impactful programs including GiGi’s Kitchen Kids and Teen, Creative Exploration, GiGiFIT Adult, and GiGi’s Kitchen Adult. Their dedication shines through every session, where they blend fun, skill-building, and encouragement in everything they do.
These programs are at the heart of our mission to support individuals with Down syndrome through purposeful, progressive programming. GiGi’s Kitchen programs promote healthy nutrition habits, food preparation skills, and social interaction for kids, teens, and adults. Creative Exploration fosters self-expression and imagination through art and sensory activities. GiGiFIT Adult is designed to improve strength, endurance, and motor skills, while also building confidence and promoting healthy habits. Maria and Noah bring each of these programs to life with their enthusiasm, creativity, and understanding of each participant’s unique abilities.
In addition to their leadership roles, Maria and Noah also support our monthly TeenTastic program and holiday parties coming up like the Halloween Glow Party and Friendsgiving. Their positive attitude and commitment to inclusion make them an essential part of our team and an inspiration to all who participate in our programming.
