Volunteer Opportunities
Thank you for your interest in becoming a part of our GiGi's Indy Volunteer Team! GiGi’s Playhouse is a volunteer-run organization and we rely on the skill and dedication of volunteers of various levels of expertise to keep our programs vibrant, educational, fun, and free. Since the first Playhouse opened in 2003, GiGi’s Playhouse programs have always been free for our families and we truly believe that cost should NEVER be a barrier to success. Parents, family members, clinicians, and individuals who believe in the GiGi’s Playhouse mission act as volunteers in GiGi’s Playhouse programs, events, administrative offices, and on our Board of Members. If you are interested in donating your time and talent, let us know!

Program Assistant
- Arrives to the program early
- Assists leader with preparation of the program materials
- Greets, interacts and engages with families including sign-in and out procedures
- Helps leader with clean up procedures
Program Lead
- Arrives to the program early
- Gets pre-planned program materials ready
- Greets, interacts and engages with families
- Conducts the program, making sure all participants take part in the program & have fun
- Facilitates cleanup
Achievers
Seeking 1 program lead + 2 program assistants
Wednesdays from 10:30 AM - 3:30 PM
- Achievers provides opportunities for socialization and community involvement, while creating a fun and memorable experience for its participants. Participants work on vocational, communication, and social skills to boost confidence and encourage independence through goal-oriented objectives. Ages 18+.
Bike Clinic
Seeking 1 program leader + 3 program assistants per clinic week
June 17th – June 21st from 6 - 7 PM & July 15th – July 19th from 9 - 10 AM
- Join us for our week-long clinic that focuses on teaching the foundational skills needed to learn how to ride a bike! We use Strider Bikes for this program. If you participated in the June clinic, please allow others to participate in July!
Crawlers & Walkers
Seeking 1 program assistant
Tuesdays from 10:15 AM – 11:15 AM
- At Crawlers & Walkers, the focus is on having fun while exploring a variety of fine motor, gross motor, and oral motor activities! Currently studying OT/PT or just have a passion for movement? Join us!
Friends, Fun, and Fitness
Seeking 1 program leader + 1 program assistant
Wednesdays from 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM
- Join us at Friends, Fun, and Fitness for a weekly workout targeted towards our friends' goals!
GiGi’s Summer Adventure Series: Art
Seeking 1 program leader + 1 program assistant
June 3rd – June 7th from 9 AM – 10:30 AM
- Spend the week exploring the essentials of different art mediums and techniques! This Art Adventure Series will include drawing, painting, sculpting, and mixed media, with an end of the week art exhibit for the artists to show off their work.
GiGi’s Summer Adventure Series: Cooking
Seeking 1 program leader + 1 program assistant
July 8th – July 12th from 9 AM – 11 AM
- Cookies, Spaghetti, Salads, OH MY! During this series, we will learn about a variety of culinary skills, all centered around independent cooking. We will open our doors for your little chef to invite 1 friend to a tasting party at the end of the week. We are looking forward to one sweet week!

3rd Saturday of the month from 2 PM – 3:30 PM
- Join us for GiGi’s Summer Adventures: Teen, a new program that will have a rotating theme each month that will promote friendship, independence, socialization, and confidence!
