The Most Memorable 21st Birthday Celebration: GiGiFEST!
The sun was shining, and we saw nothing but smiling faces this past Sunday at GiGiFEST, our 21st Annual Birthday Celebration! Every year, we welcome our families, friends, supporters, and the entire community out to our playhouse in Hoffman Estates. Our birthday celebration showcases to the community all that we offer as an organization. FREE therapeutic and educational programs, that allow individuals with Down syndrome of all ages to thrive, in an environment that caters to their needs and provides an essential sense of community.
We had so many fun activities for attendees to enjoy: a petting zoo, face painting, pumpkin painting, various fall themed crafts, carnival games, bounce houses, and who could forget.. the Best of All Walk!! So many of our participants got a chance to showcase and strut down the red carpet, from our littles in LMNOP to THE GiGi, everybody had the opportunity to be a part of this beautiful moment.
We want to also thank our amazing volunteers who made this day possible, they led the charge on set up, guiding the craft stations, and cleaning up at the end the event. Their dedication proves yet to be the heart of GiGi’s.
We appreciate all the support more than words and are so grateful to have shared this amazing day with you all, we can’t wait to see you again next year!
