Amazing Response from the Playhouse family!!!!

Last month, we asked friends of the Playhouse to help a mom who had been displaced from her home, was staying with family, raising four little ones (one with Down syndrome).  She had several needs, and the families and friends of the Playhouse responded in such an amazing way!

** If you are interested, the only need the family will have on an ongoing basis is Enfamil ready to drink formula (the powder upsets the baby’s stomach).

Here is a message from Shari, who has been delivering your donations to this family:

To All My Friends at GiGi’s Playhouse:
I want to express my deepest gratitude for your extraordinary generosity.  When I told my friend Angelica I would send out a call for help, I had no idea how awesome the response would be!   She is so very grateful for everything you have done to help her.  I am so moved and touched by all you did, I can’t imagine how she must feel!  Within a couple of days, my entire car was filled with donations of baby formula, diapers, clothes and more!
When I asked her today if she had everything she needed, she started to tear up and said, ” In this toughest and most difficult time of my life I am having a hard time finding the right words to express how grateful I am to you all.  All the things you have given me have been of great help to me and my four children.”
I am so proud to call all of you my friends!  Thank you for helping my friend when she really needed it!
