Mitchell and his tutor, Loretta

Here at Hoffman Estates, our tutor rooms are always filled with students and teachers throughout the week. Sometimes, the entire session consists of one reading a-z book, which is awesome. And other times, these sessions get pretty creative! Here is an email I just recevied from one of our very creative tutors, Loretta:

“Mitchell read both of these books from the library and also those 5 pages from the workbook we sent home since we are working on reading/comprehension. He practiced his lines from Hairspray on stage again–that always brings a smile to his face.  The last 5 minutes, of course, he practiced for the talent show by playing his guitar and singing.  He always does such a great job remaining on task.  He gives it everything he has got each week.  He is a wonderful student.”
